Nieto Ramón, founder and owner, Hungarian Design Award-winning industrial product and art designer.

Nieto Ramón, the founder and designer of Nieto Studio (2014), has been interested in design since childhood. He often accompanied his mechanical engineer father to work, first out of curiosity as an enthusiastic observer, and then quickly participated in small and large projects. Creative curiosity became his essence, and innovation and design turned into his passion. It was at this time that he first realized how important the people involved in the creative process and their relationships are, as well as their local experiences.

During his university studies at BME and MOME, it quickly became clear that product design and design, in general, were his passions. This later became intertwined with another key factor in his life: his love for nature. Environmental awareness and sustainability, as well as creating ergonomic, nature-inspired spaces, form the foundation of Nieto's philosophy. His passion for fishing, with its meditative atmosphere and quiet observational process, mirrors the experience of design in a similar way.

Nieto views design in a similar way to fishing: the experience of the process is just as important as the outcome. Designing the product lifecycle is just as crucial as the design or technical planning of the product itself.
